[ calendar for the year ]

All Holy Days are determined by actual sighting of the New Moons. In Yahweh's Calendar, Scriptural Days begin at sundown the previous day. An asterisk (*) indicates that under perfect atmospheric conditions, the new moon may possibly be seen the previous evening in areas of the far western hemisphere.

It is easier to sight visible new moons the farther west you go on the globe. Depending on your location, it may be difficult or impossible to sight the moon on the dates listed below. Geographically, the day begins when the sun rises in the Far East (Pacific Ocean) and ends when the sun sets in the western hemisphere (Pacific Ocean). The new moons listed below should be visible at some locations within the given day.

If you would like to see more information about the moon and its cycles, visit the U.S. Naval Observatory's Data Services Site, where you can find calculated dates of the moon phases, and images of how the moon looks during its cycle.

If you would like a table of sunrise and sunsets for a whole year use the U.S. Naval Observatory's Sun or Moon Rise/Set Table for One Year. Or you can try searching on a location and timezone below, and all sunset times will be put into this calendar (next to the day of the month).

City, State or Country: (example: St. Louis, MO)
Timezone:

Note that daylight savings time is not accounted for in the sunset times. You will need to adjust sunset times if your locale uses a daylight savings time system.

Biblically, days are defined from one sunset to the next, so all Sabbaths and Holy Days actually begin at sunset on the evening before the date they are listed below.
