Keep the faith as we know the end is near and have faith in Yahweh because He is our hope and our salvation. We love you all and hope that you all continue to walk in truth

Fear Yahweh

Do you fear Almighty Yahweh, He is looking for a people who will keep His covenant law and do what He requires of us. In Deut. 10:12-22 it states: and now, Israel what does Yahweh your Elohim require of you, but to fear Yahweh your Elohim, to walk in all His ways, and to love Him, and to serve Yahweh with all your heart and with all your soul, to keep the commandments of Yahweh, and His statues, which I command you this day for your good? Behold, to Yahweh your Elohim belongs heaven and the heaven of heaven, the earth, with all that is in it. Yet Yahweh had a delight in your fathers to love them, and He chose their seed after them, even you above all peoples, as at this day. Circumcise therefore the foreskin of your heart, and be no more stiffneck. For Yahweh your Elohim, He is El of Elohim, sovereign of Rulers, the great El, the mighty, and the terrible, who regards not persons, nor takes reward. He executes justice for the fatherless and the widow, and loves the sojourner, in giving him food and raiment. Therefore love the sojourner; for you were sojourners in the land of Egypt. You shall fear Yahweh your Elohim; Him shall you serve ; and to Him shall you hold fast, and by His name shall you swear. He is your praise, and He is your Elohim, that has done for you these great and terrible things, which your eyes have seen. Your fathers went down into Egypt with seventy persons; and now Yahweh you Elohim has made you as the stars of heaven for multitude. The term fear is # 3372 in the strong's concordance yare' (yaw-ray') it is a primitive root; to fear, morally, to revere, caus. To frighten from 3373 to be reverent. Do we fear Almighty Yahweh in the proper way or is our fear of Him something that we are taught out of habit. The fear we have of Him must be out of love as we fear our parents with respect. Do we walk in the ways of Yahweh keeping all of His commandments. This shows Father Yahweh that we truly do love Him and are willing to follow whatever He commands us to do. When we reverence our heavenly father we delight in everything He ask us to do. Our relationship grows with every opportunity we have to draw near Him and to come before Him with praise.

King David in Psalm 25:14 states: the friendship (secret) of Yahweh is with them that fear Him; and He will show them His covenant. The word friendship is OT:5475 cowd (sode); from OT:3245; a session, i.e. company of persons (in close deliberation); by implication, intimacy, consultation, a secret: The American Standard version uses friendship in it's translation whereas the KJV uses secret when showing the intimacy of the relationship between Yahweh and those who fear Him. We know that the secret things belong to Yahweh as it states in Deut. 29:29 but Almighty Yahweh is revealing His covenant to those that show reverence to Him or Fear Him. As we sojourn with our savior He reveals the father's most intimate details of His plan of salvation to us. This walk is a pure walk a walk that sheds those who do not have a sincere desire to be in the kingdom of Yahweh. In Psalm 34:7-9 it states: the Angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear Him, and delivers them. Oh taste and see that Yahweh is good: Blessed is the man that takes refuge in Him. Oh fear Yahweh, you His saints; For there is no want to them that fear Him. Many people have gone back from following Almighty Yahweh because they truly don't fear Him in the way they should. In Jacob 2:19 it states: "You believe Elohim is one; you do well: the demons believe also, and tremble." But you see the demons don't serve Almighty Yahweh they serve the adversary Satan the devil. You must think long and hard how you whom you fear. We are to love Yahweh and fear Him only.

Do you fear Yahweh with all your heart and soul? If you do then you will be able to walk in His presence at the solemn assemblies or feast days. He will reveal His covenant to you as you become a delight to His eyes. Satan said in Job 1:9 "Does Job fear Elohim for nothing? Almighty Yahweh displayed confidence in Job and Job did not disappoint Him. Satan struck all that Job had and Job did not sin with his lips. Even Job's wife told him to curse Elohim and die, but Job responded "shall we receive good at the hand of Elohim, and shall we not receive evil." To fear Yahweh is to respect Him and all His ways and this is what Job did. Can we be as faithful in our trials and tribulations of this life? Almighty Yahweh is faithful in all things and He is looking for those who fear Him.

Eyes on Israel

The world councilor of churches attacks Israel and Christian Zionism.
Michael Curtis

For more than two thousand years ago historians and analysts have disagreed on the manner in which to present accounts of the past and the present. Some have sought to arouse sympathy or pity or empathy for the sufferings or difficulties of the peoples they are discussing. Others have presented a portrait, less emotional and dramatic, and one from which general lessons can be learned.

It is disgraceful that the WCC has slandered fellow Christians, those Christian Zionists who have a different perception of Israel and demonstrate their sympathy for and love of the Jewish state. It is clear that many, perhaps a majority, of those writing or speaking about the condition of the Palestinian Arabs, and the behavior of the State of Israel towards them, in the Middle East have chosen the first approach. This has recently been confirmed by the declarations of mainstream Christian bodies. On May 24, 2013 the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland adopted a committee report, "The Inheritance of Abraham?" The report was amended because the Church admitted that it had "caused worry and concern in parts of the Jewish Community in Israel and beyond." That concern was appropriately justified. Even after the supposedly more moderate passages in the changes in the document, it still included a passage, "Christians supported Israel as repentance for antisemitism and the Holocaust. Then as Israel became more controversial with their abuse of Palestinians, Christians remained silent."

The whole report was tendentious and biased in its anti-Israeli stance, even to the belief in Christian silence on Israel. Indeed, the reverse has been the case as one mainstream Christian church after another has been eager to condemn Israel for its actions or non-actions concerning the Palestinians. The most recent has been the statement issued on May 29, 2013 by the World Council of Churches (WCC) and the Middle East Council of Churches at an international and ecumenical conference held in Beirut, Lebanon. Representatives of every Christian Church in the Middle East and from Christian churches and organizations in 34 countries participated at the meeting held at Notre-Dame du Mont Monastery to discuss "Christians in the Middle East: Presence and Witness." The conference was aware and spoke in a general way of contemporary problems in the Middle East: the intensification of religious tribalism; increasing fundamentalism in many of the world's religions; dispersion of the influence of radicalized Islamist groups; widespread violence and insecurity; a deficit in democratic legitimacy and credibility; poverty and the lack of opportunity, especially for women and youth.

Yet though it did mention "Christian emigration from the region, and a generalized sense of abandonment following decades of unhelpful intervention," it did not state the real problem of Arab treatment of Christians who have been persecuted and are leaving Arab countries in large numbers. It did not even deal with the slaughter in Syria, a few miles away from the Conference setting, of 80,000 being slaughtered and almost a million being made refugees.

Instead, it followed the familiar and fallacious Palestinian narrative of victimhood. Disregarding the present incredible turmoil in the whole Arab world, as well as the daily reports of Palestinians fleeing from Syria, and the entrance of Hezbollah into the country supporting President Assad, this WCC defined the existing problem in incomprehensible fashion. For the WCC, "Palestine continues to be the central problem in the region." This was central to the turmoil in the region, a turmoil which was exacerbated by the duplicity of policies of the western powers, especially the United States. This turmoil was explained by the "persistence, after sixty-five years, of continual dispassion of Palestinian people …from their land by Israeli occupation, continual settlement of land inside the 1967 borders by a nation empowered by overwhelming military strength and external alliances and influence."

The WCC was specific as well as general in this wholesale assault on Israel and disregard of the fighting it might have heard from its Monastery meeting place. It asserted that Jerusalem was an "occupied city with a government which has adopted discriminatory policies against Christians and Muslims alike." The Council said nothing about discrimination against Christians in other countries or in Saudi Arabia where Christian practice is forbidden. Instead, the Council called for Jerusalem to be an open city with "careful protection" of the holy places of the three religions, ignoring the fact that Israel had been doing exactly that in its concern for freedom of religious expression. The WCC went even further in its biased, sectarian and myopic statement. It attacked Christians who did not share its views. It asserted, "Christians who promote 'Christian Zionism' distort the interpretation of the Word of God and the historic connection of Palestinians – Christians and Muslims- to the Holy Land." The WCC is apparently not only Holier than any other Christians who disagree with it in its message it derived from God, but also insinuates, in less than subtle fashion, of the world Jewish conspiracy. The WCC holds that Christian Zionists "enable the manipulation of public opinion by Zionist lobbies and damage intra-Christian relationships." In its extremely disrespectful advice the WCC recommended, perhaps by a crusade and certainly indicating a vendetta, that it convene its academic resources and consult its ecumenical partners to address the issue of Christian Zionism , disclosing its sources, its use as a political weapon against the Palestinian people, and its effects on intra-Christian relations.

It is shameful that the WCC instead of objective analysis has emulated the Palestinian perception of their situation which, in addition to genuine problems, presents the Palestinians as victims, as the international symbol of the oppressed. Those, including the WCC, who identity with the oppressed or with the supposed victims have made the cause of the Palestinians and the condemnation of Israel the main focus of their agenda of Middle Eastern affairs. The WCC, fueled by a fashionable, politically correct anti-Western ideology of collective identity with the supposed oppressed, has shifted the discussion of the disturbing problems of the Middle East from the acute ones in Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, Egypt, and Iran, to the alleged deficiencies of Israel. It is disgraceful that the WCC has slandered fellow Christians, those Christian Zionists who have a different perception of Israel and demonstrate their sympathy for and love of the Jewish state. The WCC, and those Christian organizations and individuals, who concur with its statement ought to be aware that its assertions about Israel and Christian Zionism, which cannot be dignified as a line of reasoning, are detrimental to and handicap efforts to begin negotiations for a peaceful settlement of the Arab-Israeli conflict.

This attitude is shared by many who are against Israel and Almighty Yahweh tells us in His word in Ps. 83:4 "They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; That the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance." The haters of Yahweh should submit themselves to Him the world council of churches are placing themselves against Yahweh by opposing Israel.

NEWS, NOTES, & NOTABLES

Looking Ahead to the Next New Moon:The new moon for the 4th scriptural month should be visible the evening of Sunday, June 09, 2013. So watch.

In Genesis 1:14-18 we see the significance of the heavenly bodies. "Then Elohim said, 'Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs and seasons, and for days and years; and let them be for lights in the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth;' and it was so. Then Elohim made two great lights: the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night. He made the stars also. Elohim set them in the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth, 18 and to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness. And Elohim saw that it was good." (NKJV)

Be sure to look for this new moon and report your findings to us by calling 717-383-6975.

We are commanded to pray for the sick among us in James 5:13-15 13“Is any among you suffering? Let him pray. Is any cheerful? Let him sing praise. 14Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of Yahweh: 15 and the prayer of faith shall save him that is sick, and Yahweh shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, it shall be forgiven him. Let us pray for these people who have a petition before Almighty Yahweh.
