Death Of A Loved One Part 2

As the Truman family plans to attend the funeral of Karen’s brother Martin they agree to participate for the benefit of the family.  Karen’s father and mother and her siblings are the reason that the Truman’s are going to pay their respect and show that they are still family despite their differences. Yahweh wants us to be a good example in good times and in bad especially when we are stressed by the death of a loved one.

“Peter said, Dad look at all those people did they all know uncle Martin?” No son most of these people are friends of the family and military friends and family. When a hero dies many people show up to show their respect to the family.

The church holds about 1,000 people and there are about 3,000 people standing outside hoping to get in to view the body and greet the family to give their condolences. In 2 Kings 5:17-18 “If you will not,” said Naaman, “please let me, your servant, be given as much earth as a pair of mules can carry, for your servant will never again make burnt offerings and sacrifices to any other elohim but to Yahweh. 18 But may Yahweh forgive your servant for this one thing: When my master enters the temple of Rimmon to bow down and he is leaning on my arm and I have to bow there also—when I bow down in the temple of Rimmon, may the Yahweh forgive your servant for this.” We like Naaman are here at this funeral to be examples of Yahweh’s true servants in the mist of a pagan culture. We through love will show the way to Yahweh by our example not just in word but in works as well.

Karen’s mother thanked her for being at the funeral and asked her about coming to services to learn more about Yahweh just because she knew it was a difficult decision to come to a funeral service at their church. Peter thanked Yahweh for his family and prayed that Almighty Yahweh would have mercy on those who were misled.

Peter, Phoebe and Matt approached their parents and said; “we need to learn more about the Kingdom of Yahweh since more people will be asking us about our faith.” Samuel Truman responded; Almighty Yahweh will answer the prayers of the righteous that keep their faith in Him. In Ps. 116:15 it states: Precious in the sight of Yahweh is the death of his faithful servants. We must be faithful servants of Almighty Yahweh in all that we do and not err in the scriptures as did the Sadducess in Mk. 12:18-27

Almighty Yahweh has made promises to those who serve Him that they would be resurrected if they were faithful unto the end. That they would receive a crown of life in Rev. 2:10 if they would be faithful unto death, the second death would have no power over them. May Almighty Yahweh bless you as you try and learn more about Him and His grace.
