April 2007 - Report From Kenya

We are happy to report the success of Yahweh's Philadelphia Truth Congregations in Kenya, Africa. Since the first arrival of the YPTC representatives from the USA to Kenya in 2005, tremendous steps have been taken towards teaching people undiluted truths from the Scriptures.

We received Elders Karl Bloodworth and Tyrone Joyner in their first trip here with open arms because they are true ministers of Yahweh. But we believed them to be stewards of Yahweh’s truth. Therefore, we learned and unlearned many Bible lessons and principles through them and have put our efforts into teaching others who desire to listen and learn the better way. The importance of teaching sound doctrine and living a spiritual way of life is our most cherished assignment.

It is no wonder that many call and even physically travel over vast distances and difficult terrain to reach us and hear the glad tidings expounded more perfectly. We bear witness of what the prophet talked about when he said people will be staggering of hunger and thirst, not hungry for food but hungering and thirsting of the word of Yahweh. (Amos 8:11-14)

Many have come to believe because the foundations of our precious faith cannot be doubted unless one chooses to do so. Thus many are immersed. Around Nairobi six or more will be immersed at the end of March in anticipation of the Passover Memorial. Others will be baptized during the days of UB in other areas around our country.

We know and are grateful for the unconditional love that the brethren all over the world have for us. All funds donated towards Africa have enabled more and more to hear the whole truth. Without the generosity of the brethren in America and elsewhere we would not be able to travel and reach more and more areas in Kenya.

Some have given towards specific projects. There are some who were homeless and now have homes. There is a vehicle for evangelizing, and children who would otherwise be out of school are learning. We also need to mention that the lives of others have generally improved for the better. Thanks to all cheerful givers and may Yahweh bless you for your thoughtfulness and generosity.

Yahweh’s word declares all things work out for the good of them that love Him (Romans 8:28), and His will is not grievous (1 John 5:2-3). We keep all brethren in our thoughts and prayers daily and expect a good report of wonderful things to come for all who do His will.

We as believers are challenged by the circumstances and worldly surroundings we are a part of, including our personal friendships and relationships. All these things can hinder you from accomplishing the objective that Yahshua the Messiah our Savior has designated for you. Now the word hinder does not mean to stop but to slow you down and cause you to be delayed.

So wherever we are, let us all pull together and Yahweh will reward us with blessings in this world and life eternal too, Ephesians 1:3.

May Yahweh make his face shine on all who seek His Will.
